When you buy a new Volkswagen vehicle, you will receive one-year complimentary Roadside Assist membership. With Volkswagen Roadside Assist, we’re your wingman when you find yourself in emergency situations.

We provide 24-hour roadside assistance, emergency accommodation, car rental and towing as well as property assistance.

An example of additional benefits are: flat batteries, emergency fuel, flat tyres, lost or locked keys, bogged vehicle, taxi, car rental and legal/ medical advice.

The benefits to a consumer given by these warranties are in addition to the other rights and remedies of the consumer under a law in relation to the goods and services to which the warranties relate. A consumer’s rights under applicable law prevail to the extent of any inconsistency between these warranty terms and conditions and the law.

Service Initiated Roadside Assistance (SIRA)

If you service your Volkswagen at an authorised Volkswagen Dealer, you can receive 12 months Service Initiated Roadside Assistance**. To book a service or find out more visit www.volkswagen.com.au.

To be eligible for SIRA your vehicle must be in a roadworthy condition and have the Volkswagen standard scheduled service carried out by a participating authorised Volkswagen Dealer.

Following the service schedule ensures your vehicle receives the love and care it deserves. As such, vehicles presented to an authorised Volkswagen Dealer will be eligible for a SIRA Policy up to 42 days after, or 2,500 kilometres above the service schedule milestone. If previous services were missed or completed outside our network, you will also be eligible when you return to an authorised Volkswagen Dealer for a standard scheduled service.

Vehicles that are more than 9 years old from the original new car warranty start date, are not eligible for SIRA. The SIRA policy will expire on or after 10 years from the original new car warranty start date, and no further SIRA policy will not be activated. No more than 9 SIRA Policies can be applied to a vehicle in its lifetime.
